Solution :-

our polygon is divided into two parts trapezium and rectangle

 \sf  \fbox \green{first \:  let's \:  find \:  the \:  area  \: of  \: trapezium}

 \sf \:  = Area =  \frac{1}{2} (l + b) \times h \\

 \sf \:  = Area =  \frac{1}{2}(10 + 18)(20 - 12) \\

 \sf \:  = Area =  \frac{1}{2}  \times (28) \times (8) \\

 \sf \: =  Area(1) =  \sf  \red{112 \:  {cm}^{2} }

 \sf \fbox \green{let's find the area of rectangle}

 \sf \:  = Area = lenght \:  \times breadth

 \sf \:  = Area = 12 \times 18

 \sf  = Area(2) = \red {216 \:  {cm}^{2} }

 \sf \fbox \green{now let's find the total area}

 \sf \:  = Total \:  Area \:  =  Area(1) + Area(2)

 \sf \:  = Total  \: Area = 112 + 216

 \sf \:  = Total \:  Area =   \red{328 \:  {cm}^{2} }

 \sf \: answer \: →  \red{328 \:  {cm}^{2} }
