Akka :D all the best for NEET!!!

Dr. Akka

The answer is option a) because the oxidation number of chlorine is less in Cl-O⁻. Since size of an atom is inversely proportional to effective nuclear charge, more the nuclear charge, less will be the size of the atom. If the size of the atom is less, then bond length is also less.

Oxidation number of chlorine is less in ClO⁻ (=1), so, its bond length will be more

ALL THE BEST AGAIN!!!
