Explanation:

you have connected all the appliances in parallel.

so,

1/equivalent R = 1/R + 1/R² + 1/R³

R¹ = 100 ohm

R² = 50 ohm

R³ = 500 ohm

1/equivalent = 1/100+1/50+1/500

= 5/500+10/500+1/500

=16/500

equivalent R = 500/16

= 250/8

=125/4

by ohms law,

V=IR

220 = I×125/4

I = 220×4/125

I = 44×4/25

\boxed{\red{\tt I = \dfrac{176}{25} }}

let the resistance of electric iron be r

v=ir

220 = 176/25 ×r

220×25/176 = r

31.25 ohm is the resistance of the electric iron.

current = 7.04 amperes

hope this helps!
