Answer:
given 3 consecutive multiples of 3
let x, x+3, x+6 be the multiples of 3
given sum of the 3 multiples is 867
x+x+3+x+6=867
3x+9=867
3x=867-9
3x=858
x=286
- therefore x=286
- x+3= 289
- x+6=292
