Answer:

\displaystyle{Zeroes \ are \ 3 \ and \ 1/3}

Explanation:

Given :

\displaystyle{p(x)=3u^2-10u+3}

We have to find zeroes

Let first factorize it

By splitting mid term method

\displaystyle{p(x)=3u^2-10u+3}\\\\\displaystyle{p(x)=3u^2-9u-u+3}\\\\\displaystyle{p(x)=3u(u-3)-(u-3)}\\\\\displaystyle{p(x)=(u-3)(3u-1)

Now for zeroes of p ( x )

\displaystyle{p(x)=(u-3)(3u-1)=0}\\\\\displaystyle{u-3=0 \ or \ 3u-1=0}\\\\\displaystyle{u=3 \ or \ u = 1/3

Thus we get zeroes.
