HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

THE MOTION IS NOT UNIFORM

AVERAGE SPEED = DISTANCE / TIME
DISTANCE 80+80+40+40 = 2400
TIME = 4 * 60 = 240*4=960

 \frac{240}{960}
AVERAGE SPEED of farmer is 4 m/s

hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

6. UNIFORM MOTION :-

when object covers equal distance in equal intervals of time, then it's known as uniform motion.

example - car moving through a straight path with a constant speed.

NON-UNIFORM MOTION :-

when object covers unequal distance in equal intervals of time, then it's known as non-uniform motion.

example - car moving though a crowed place.

1. the motion of this farmar is non-uniform because the length of each side of the field is different. and it's given that he takes 4 mins to cover each side and we know that when object covers unequal distance in equal interval of time is called non-uniform motion. so here the farmer covers unequal distance in equal interval of time so it's non-uniform motion.

total distance covered by the farmer = 2 ( l + b )

= 2 ( 80 + 40 )

= 2 × 120

= 240m

total time taken = 4 × 4 = 16 mins = 960 secs

average speed of the farmer = distance/time

= 240/960

= 0.25m/s

2. speed = 340m/s

time = 6 secs

distance = ?

we know that speed = distance/time

speed × time = distance

therefore distance = 340 × 6 = 2040m

3. the pendulum takes 10 seconds to complete 5 oscillations.

therefore it's time period = total time taken/ number of oscillations

= 10/2

= 5 seconds

sorry I don't know to make pendulum

hope this helps..!!

Anonymous: i ain't getting option to edit it.. that's why saying here.. 3. time period = total time taken/no. of oscillations = 10/5 = 2secs
Anonymous: i don't know to make pendulum
