Step-by-step explanation:

(x+1)(x+4)(x-5)

x^2+5x+4(x-5)

x^3-5x^2+5x^2-5x+4x-20

x^3-x-20

Question:-

Form a polynomial whose factors are (x+1) (x+4) and (x-5)

Solution:-

By finding out the product, we can easily form a polynomial whose factors are given above. So,

 \sf(x + 1)(x + 4)(x - 5)

 \sf = ( {x}^{2} + 5x + 4)(x -5)

 \sf {x}^{3} + 5 {x}^{2} + 4x - 5 {x}^{2} - 25x - 20

 \sf = {x}^{3} - 21x + 20

Hence, the polynomial is

 \sf = {x}^{3} - 21x + 20
