Question given is :- The shaded portion in the adjoining figure shows a circular path enclosed by two concentric circles. If the inner circumference of the path is 176 m and the uniform width of the circular path is 3.5 m, find the area of the path

Answer:-

Inner circumfrence - 176 m

Formula is 2 pie r - so 2 * 22/7 r = 176

r = 176 * 7 / 2 * 22 =28 m

So , inner radius of the path (r ) is 28 m

Width of path is 3.5 m

Therefore outer radius denoted by Capital r is equal to 28 + 3.5 m that is 31.5 m

Area of path = Area of outer circle - Area of inner circle

= this part I done for you in attached image kindly see attached image

Hope this helps:-
