To find the atomic mass , when fractional abundance is given,

we multiply the the isotopic mass by the fractional abundance and sum the results as shown:

20× 0.9051 =18.102

21 × 0.027 =0.0567

22 ×0.0922 = 2.0284

Adding = 20.1871 amu

Hence atomic mass of Neon is =20.1871amu
