In a rocket, burning fuel creates a push on the front of the rocket pushing it forward. This creates an equal and opposite push on the exhaust gas backwards.
  3. The fireworks are filled with lead oxide, which turns into lead atoms as the firework explodes and heat up. These lead atoms vaporize in the huge heat and the vapours make the crackling sound as they expand. And they give light because of the explosion.
