Hi !!!!

Question :

24  = x +  \frac{x {}^{2} }{100}

Answer :

24 =  \frac{100x +  {x}^{2} }{100}  \\  \\ 24 \times 100 =  {x}^{2}  + 100x \\  \\ 2400 =  {x}^{2}  + 100x \\  \\  {x}^{2}  + 100x - 2400 = 0 \\  \\  {x}^{}   =  \frac{  - b +  -  \sqrt{ {b}^{2} - 4ac } }{2a}  \\  {x}^{}  =  - \frac{ - 100 +  -  \sqrt{100 {}^{2}  - 4 \times 1 \times  - 2400} }{2 \times 1}  \\  \\  {x}^{}  =  \frac{ - 100 +  - \sqrt{19600}  }{2}  =  - 50 +  - 70 \\  \\ x = 20 \: or \:  - 120
