Answer :-

  • ➩ AC = AD ( given )
  • ➩ ∠CAB = ∠BAD ( given )
  • ➩ BA = BA ( common side )

By ASA congurence criterion -

∆ ABC ≅ ∆ ABD

So, by CPCT -

➩ BC = BD

Now we have,

  • BC = 1.5 cm
  • BD = 1.5 cm

2 BD + ½ BC = 2 ( 1.5 ) + ½ ( 1.5 )

= 3 + 0.75

= 3.75

2 BD + ½ BC = 3.75

\huge\sf\color{purple}\underline{\underline{Answer}} :

 \sf 2 BD + \frac{1}{2} BC = 3.75

\huge\sf\color{purple}\underline{\underline{Solution}} :

➩ AC = AD ( given )

➩ ∠CAB = ∠BAD ( given )

➩ BA = BA ( common side )

Hence,

\sf \color{green}∆ ABC ≅ ∆ ABD

➩ BC = BD ( By CPCT)

Now we have,

BC = 1.5 cm

BD = 1.5 cm

2 BD + ½ BC = 2 ( 1.5 ) + ½ ( 1.5 )

= 3 + 0.75

= 3.75

\color{red} \sf 2 BD +\frac{1}{2}BC = 3.75
