Answer is option D . ( 81 cm )

Step by step :)

For first year tree will increase 1/8th of today's height .

 = 64 \times  \frac{1}{8}  \\  = 8cm

First year tree increases 8 cm.

and now height is

 = 64 + 8 = 72cm

For second year its increase 1/8th of 72cm

 = 72 \times  \frac{1}{8 }  \\  = 9

and heights became

 = 72 + 9 = 81cm
