Given in question that

Distance covered by (sprint)cheetah = 100 m in time 4 seconds.

the average speed = Distance ÷ Time = 100 ÷ 4 = 25 m/ s¹ ( required answer )

As 100 m is twice of 50 m ( 50 × 2 = 100 ) and t = 4 sec which is twice of 2 sec.

thanks..

Answer:

25m/sec

Explanation:

Average speed =TOTAL DISTANCE /TOTAL TIME

=100m /4sec

=25m/s

If it sprints 50m in 2 sec then also the answer would be same

see

50 half 25

50 /2 =25m/s
