Hello...!!

Your Answer..!!

________________________________

Take the area of rectangle in the form of A,B where,

length= A & breadth= B

according to question,

(A-5)(B+3) = AB-9 ----- ¡

(Given in question )

(x+3)(y+2) = xy + 67----- ¡¡

(Given in question )

If we solve 2 equations,we get

AB+3A-5B-15 = AB - 9

3A-5B= 6 ------ (¡¡¡)

→ AB+2A+3B+6 = AB + 67

2A + 3B =61---- (iv)

6A-10B = 12----(v)

6A+9B=183----(vi)

subtract equation (vi) from (v),

subtract equation (vi) from (v),We get,

-19B= -171

b =  \frac{ - 171}{ - 19}

B=9

Substitute the value of B=9 in equation ( vi ).

Substitute the value of B=9 in equation ( vi ).We get.

6A + 9×9 = 183.

6A + 81=183

6A = 183-81

→ 6A= 102

(6A+9B=183 where B=9 is substituted in this equation)

So, A=17

Therefore,the dimensions of the rectangle are:

Length(A) = 17 units

Length(A) = 17 unitsBreadth(B) = 9 units
