Answer:

Explanation:

first write reaction  which is given

fe+2+kmno4 = mn+2 + fe+3

zn + fe+3 = fe+2 +zn+2

fe+2 +kmno4 = fe+3 +mn+2

in first reaction equivalent of  kmno4 = equivalent of  fe+2 = equivalent of fe+3

equivalent = f*moles = molarity*volume*f

equivalent of  kmno4 =0.0028*50*5

=0.7

here equivalent of kmno4= equivalent of fe+2 = moles*1000*f

0.7=1000*moles

moles = 0.0007

and moles of fe+3 is also same as fe+2

in second reaction

zn+fe+3 = fe+2 +zn+2

fe+2 + kmno4 = mn+2 + fe+3

in above common ion is fe+2

check fe+2 valency factor in zn reaction and kmno4 reaction

if the valency factors of both reactions are same then equivalents are same in reactions

if not same equate moles as same of fe+2

valency factor of fe+2 in zn reaction = 1

valency factor of fe+ 2 in kmno4 reaction  =1

as valency factors are same equate equivalent

equivalent of  kmno4 = equivalent of fe+2 = equivalent of fe+3

m*v*f = moles * f = moles *f*1000

moles of fe+2 and fe+3 = 0.0028*48*5*10^-3

moles of fe+2 and fe+3 = 0.672*10^-3

concentration of fe+2/fe+3 in reaction with zn metal  = 0.672*10^-3

concentration of fe+2/fe+3 in reaction with  kmno4 in first = 0.7*10^-3
