Given:

\sf{Mass \:of \:object=12kg}

\sf{E_P}{=480J}

To Find:

Height of object

Solution:

\sf{E_P}{=mgh}

\sf{\therefore h=}{\dfrac{E_P}{mg}}

\sf{h=}{\dfrac{480}{12\times 10}}

\sf{h=}{\dfrac{480}{120}}

\sf{h=4m}

Thus, the object is at a height of 4m with respect to the ground.
