ANSWER:

GIVEN:

length = 40 m

area = 1000 m²

let the breadth be a

A/Q 40a = 1000.

=> a = 1000/40

=> a = 25 m

Therefore breadth is 25m

now

perimeter = 2 x 40 + 2 x 25

= 80+50

= 130m

As per the question,

the garden is enclosed by 3 rounds of fencing leaving 4 m for entrance

I.e

length of fence required = (3 x perimeter of the garden)- (3 x 4m for entrance)

=> length of fence = (3 x 130) - 12

=> length of fence = 390 - 12

=> length of fence = 378 m

A/Q

Cost of fence per metre = Rs250

by applying unitary method:

1 metre = Rs 250

=> 378 metres = Rs(378 x 250)

=Rs 94,500

HENCE THE COST IS RS 94,500

HOPE IT HELPED YOU MATE :)

please mark it the brainliest if it helped you ❤☺
