the first amendment would be to ease or scrap reservations for minorities.

the Indian basic law(Constitution) was passed in 1950 and at that point of time, discrimination based on various factors existed largely and education opportunities for minorities were less. but now, minorities who are classified based on religion, do not face discrimination generally (no reference to specific cases). in my opinion, there are enough Constitutional provisions given for backward classes.

rather than amendments, the country needs development technologically. this is to make sure that educational infrastructure is improved and everyone has a right to equal education.
