let,the width be x m
then, given,
the length of a rectangle is three times its width.
length of a rectangle=3*x=3x
given,
perimeter of a rectangle=84 m
2(l+b)=84
2(x+3x)=84
2(4x)=84
8x=84
x=84/8=10.5
therefore,
length=3x=3*10.5=31.5 m
breadth=x=10.5 m
Hope it helps you dear

Here your answer goes

\leq Step :- 1\geq

Let the width be x m

Given , the length of a rectangle  is three times of it's breadth expressed as below :-

Length = 3x m

⊆⊆⊆⊆⊃⊃⊃⊃⊃⊃⊃⊃⊃⊃⊃⊃

\leq Step :- 2 \geq

We know that , perimeter = Sum of 4 sides of rectangle

x +x + 3x + 3x = 84

2x +6x = 84

8x = 84

x = 10.5 cm

⊆⊆⊆⊆⊆⊆⊆⊆⊃⊃⊃⊃⊃⊃⊃⊃⊃⊃

\leq Step :- 3\geq

As we know x is width of a rectangle

Width = 10.5 cm

We know that L= 3b

==> 3 × 10.5

==> 31.5 m

\leq Be Brainly \geq

Together we go far
