Answer:

8th questions answer :Rational numbers between 1/4 and 1/2 are 11/40,12/40,13/40

Step-by-step explanation:

LCM of denominator that is 4 and 2 is 4

1/4×1/1=1/4

1/2×2/2=2/4

Since there are no rational numbers between these two numbers,we should have to multiply with 10,100,1000 etc ....

Here I am multiplying with 10 , you can use any you want.

1/4×10/10=10/40

2/4 ×10/10=20/40

So the rational numbers between these numbers are 11/40,12/40,13/40 etc...

Always remember we should have to multiply the numerator and denominator with the same number.

6th questions answer:

Product of two rational number is 7/9 and one number is 12/49

Take the other number as x

x - 12/49=7/9

x = 7/9 + 12/49

LCM of 9 and 49 = 441

So, x = 7/9 × 49/49=343/441 and

12/49 × 9/9=108/441

= 343 - 108 / 441

= 235/441 which is the answer
