Kezia began to see her father as a human being who need sympathy as he works so hard for the well living of his family and then also hated by his daughter. He is always too tired to be a Mr. Macdonald. She also saw how rough his hands were after working so hard. She understood her fathers kindness and explained it by saying at last, ''father you have got such a big heart.''
