According to the question ,

The product of c & 3 is b.

=> 3×c = b

=> 3c =b

This implies,

=> c = b/3

Expression represents the sum of c & 3 is

=> c+3

 =  >  \:  \frac{b}{3}  + 3

so, the ans is option (E).

The answer is given below :

Given that product of c and 3 is b.

So,
c × 3 = b

⇒ c = b/3 .....(i)

We need to find the sum of c and 3 in terms of b, that is why in (i), we found out the value of c in terms of b.

Now,

c + 3

= b/3 + 3, by (i)

So, we see that option no. (E) is correct.

Thank you for your question.
