Multiples of 3 are 3,6,...

Common difference is same.It forms an AP.

⇒ First term a = 3.

⇒ Common difference d = 6 - 3 = 3

⇒ n = 8.

We know that sum of n terms sn = (n/2)[2a + (n - 1) * d]

Then, Sum of first 8 multiples:

⇒ S8 = (8/2)[2(3) + (8 - 1) * 3]

         = 4[6 + (7 * 3)]

         = 4[6 + 21]

         = 4[27]

         = 108.

Therefore, the sum of first 8 multiples of 3 = 108.

Hope this helps!
