Answer

Given: the perimeter of the rectangular field

is equal to the perimeter of the square field of side 16.5 cm. If the lenght of the rectangular field is twice the breadth, Find: the lenght and breadth of the rectangular field.

Solution: let I = x, b = 2x

2(1 + b) = 4a

2(x + 2x) = 4 * 16.5

6x = 33/5

X = 33/5 * 1 / 6

x = 33/30

x=1.1 cm

L-x-1.1 cm

b=2x-2x1.1-2.2 cm

Hence, the b is 2.2 cm Answer
