x^2 + 1 / x^2 = 62

On adding 2 in both sides, we get

(x)^2 + (1 /x)^2 + 2 = 62 + 2

=> (x)^2 + (1 /x)^2 + 2 (x) ( 1/ x) = 64

=> ( x + 1/x)^2 = 64

=> x + 1/x = 8

Hi,

Here is your answer,

Given, (x +1/x) if (x² +1/x²) = 62

Now,
x²+ 1 / x²= 62

Now, we need to add 2 on b.s

→(x)² + (1/x)² + 2 = 62+2 ( Adding 2 on both sides)

→ x² + (1 /x)² + 2 × x (1/x) = 64

→ ( x + 1/x)² = 64

→ x + 1/x = 8

Hope it helps you !
