To know the arclength of ADC major, we calculate what's the angle subtended at centre, i.e. refl. <AOD. We find that out by calculating <AOD (acute).

In order to find <AOD, we just find <AOB and multiply it by 2. Cause <AOB and <BOC are equal.

We know, triangle <AOB is right angled with <A = 90°. So applying some trig., we find,

cos<AOB = 4/10 = 2/5.

So from there we get <AOB.

Now that we have all that is reqd., we've solved it. What remains is (dreadful) calculation, which I'm leaving upto ya.
