b) Jo flourished her broom as she inquired about his health. Laurie opened the window and croaked out as hoarsely as raven and told that he feels better and thanked her. He also told that last week he had severe cold.

c) Laurie then gasped that Meg is pretty while Amy has curly hairs.To this Jo asked how he knows that.

d) Jo tossed her head and told that she isn't afraid of anything. To which Laurie said that he doesn't believe her.
