In the given figure it is a straight line AOB having rays OD & OC.
And given that,
- ∠AOD = 5y
- ∠DOC = 3y
- ∠BOC = 2y
Now , using straight line property
Straight line property :- Sum of all angles on a straight line is equal to 180°.
Similarly ,
• Sum of all angles on line AOB equal to 180°
∠AOD + ∠DOC + ∠BOC = 180°
Substituting the given values ,
➵ 5y + 3y + 2y = 180°
➵ 10y = 180°
➵ y = 180° ÷ 10
➵ y = 18°
Now , finding all angles by substituting the value of y in angles ∠AOD , ∠DOC , ∠BOC
→ ∠AOD = 5(18°) = 90°
→ ∠DOC = 3(18°) = 54°
→ ∠BOC = 2(18°) = 36°
Hence ,
- ∠AOD = 90°
- ∠DOC = 54°
- ∠BOC = 36°
So, the angles are 36° , 54° & 90° . Since , option A is your answer
