This is the balance equation for the burning of propane in Oxygen. Convert 22 grams of propane to moles by dividing by the molar mass of propane. Using the ratio of 1:3 .5 = 3( .5) = 1.5 moles of Carbon Dioxide. 1.5 moles x 44 grams/mole = 66 grams.
