the metal whose work function is less than the energy of the incident light will EMIT photoelectrons .

energy of light ,

E = 1242 eV / lemda

= 1242 / 350

= 3.55 eV

since work function of metal is greater than the energy of light so it will not delete photo electrons .

but metal B will limit photoelectrons as its work function is less than the energy of incident light .
