Heya !!!

P(X) => PX²+5X+8P

Here,

A = P , B = 5 and C = 8P

Sum of zeroes = -B/A

Alpha + Beta = -5/P

And,

Product of zeroes = C/A

alpha × Beta = 8P/P = 8

According to question,

Sum of zeroes = Product of zeroes

-5/P = 8

8P = -5

P = -5/8

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU....... :-)

Solution:-

given by equation:-

p {x}^{2}  + 5x + 8p \\   \alpha   + \beta  =  \frac{ - b}{a}  =  \frac{ - 5}{p}  \\ \alpha  \beta  =  \frac{c}{a}  =  \frac{8p}{p}   = 8 \\ acourding \: to \: quetion \\  \alpha  +  \beta  =  \alpha  \beta  \\  \frac{ - 5}{p}  = 8 \\ (p =  \frac{ - 5}{8} ) \: ans
