to find slope => y2-y1 / x2-x1

so on putting we get

4-2 / 5-7

2/-2

=> -1

hence solpe is -1

hope it help you !!

thanks !!!

Slope of two points(x₁,y₁) and (x₂,y₂) is m = (y₂-y₁)/(x₂-x₁).

Given points are A(7,2) and B(5,4).

Here, (x₁,y₁) = (7,2) and (x₂,y₂) = (5,4)

Now,

Slope(m) = (y₂ - y₁)/(x₂ - x₁)

               = (4 - 2)/(5 - 7)

               = (2/-2)

               = -1.

Therefore, Slope = -1.

Hope this helps!
