SO THE ANSWER IS HERE SIR
.
5 YEARS AGO THEIR RATIO WAS 2:3
A=2 & B=3
A+B=5
LET ME REMIND YOU THAT IT IS THE RATIO OF 5 YEARS AGO
.
SO NOW NOW THEIR AGES HAVE INCREASED BY 5 YEARS
A's age 5+2=7 and B's 5+3=8
.
SO NOW
7+8=15
.
15=45
1=3
7=21
8=24
.
SO THE ANSWER IS
THE AGE OF A IS 21 & THAT OF B IS 24
.
.
(21+24=45)

Hey here is your answer ⤵⤵⤵

First of all it will be Sum not some

Now ,Let the present ages of A and B be x and y respectively

Now according to question,5 years ago the ratio was 2:3 I.e. 2/3

 \frac{x - 5}{y - 5} =  \frac{2}{3}

⏩⏩
3(x - 5) = 2(y - 5)

⏩⏩
3x - 15 = 2y - 10

⏩⏩
3x - 2y =  - 10 + 15 = 5

⏩⏩
3x - 2y = 5.................(.i)

Now again from question ,Sum of ages is 45

x + y = 45<br /><br />⏩⏩<br />[tex]x = 45 - y......................(ii)

Putting the value of x in (i), we get

⏩⏩3 (45-y)-2y=45
⏩⏩ 135-3y-2y=45
⏩⏩ -5y=45-135
⏩⏩ -5y=-90
⏩⏩ y =18

Putting value of y in (ii) we get
x=45-18
x=27

Now
x:y⏩⏩27:18 ✔✔

❤hope it helps you ❤
