Step-by-step explanation:

our equation is:

32^4/5 +32^-4/5

now solve the terms one be one

now:32^4/5=(32^1/5)^4

since 32^1/5=2

thus,32^4/5=(32^1/5)^4

=2^4

=16

now we know that a^-b=(1/a)^b

since 32^-4/5=(1/32)^4/5

=1/(32)^4/5

since 32^4/5=16

so,32^-4/5=1/(32)^4/5

=1/16

since 32^4/5 +32^-4/5

=16 +1/16

by taking LCM and simplifying we get:

=(256+1)/16

=16 1/16

i.e option (B)

EXPLANATION :

 {32}^{ \frac{4}{5} }  +   {32}^{ -  \frac{4}{5} }

  =  { ({2}^{5} })^{ \frac{4}{5} }  +  { ({2}^{5} })^{ -  \frac{4}{5} }

  = ({2})^{ \frac{4}{5}  \times 5}  + ( {2})^{ -  \frac{4}{5} \times 5 }

 =  {2}^{4}  +  {2}^{ - 4}

 = 16 +  \frac{1}{16}

 =  \frac{256 + 1}{16}

 =  \frac{257}{16}

here is the solution ↑

ANSWER :- (b). 16(1/16)
