given:-

radius of cylindrical tank:-2/2=1m

it's height=3.5=35/10 m

let the height of water on roof be h

volume of water in roof = volume of water in tank

lbh=πr²h

22×20×h=22/7 × 35/10 × 1×1

h=22/2×1/22×1/20=1/40

h=1/40 m= 2.5 cm. (1m=100cm)

so, the rainfall is 2.5
