let the common multiple be'x'
According to given condition,
4x+6/5x+6=14/17
17(4x+6)=14(5x+6)
68x+102=70x+84
68x-70x=84-102
-2x=-18
Hence,x=2
Now,
4×2+12/5×2+12 = 8+12/20+12
=20/32=5/7
