the conductors of electric heating devices are made up of alloys because the alloys cannot be damaged even at high temperatures and they usually have different properties than the constituent elements.

this is because the alloys have electric resistance then that are pure metals so it is designed to work for this purpose.
and alloys disorder of the atom causes additional electron sharing.
(2) Here the three resistors of 3 ohm 4 ohm and 12 ohm are connected in parallel.
show the equivalent will be:
1/R= 1/R1+ 1/R2+ 1/R3
1/R = 1/3+1/4+1/12
1/R= (4+3+1)/12
1/R= 8/12
1/R=2/3
so,
R= 3/2 ohm
= 1.5 ohm
