equivalent resistance across CE = 10 ohm

equivalent resistance across AB = (10 x 10) / 100 = 1 ohm.

I = 1.5 / 1 = 1.5 A

The arm CE and AB are in parallel and having resistance same. thus current through both arms are equal .

then, current through AB Is 1.5/2 = 0.75A

current through AC is 1.5/2 = 0.75A

as CD and DE are in series . current is same. therefore 0.75A through CDE.

P.D (AB) = 0.75 x 10 = 7.5 V

P.D ((CD) = 0.75 x 6 = 18 / 4 = 4.5V

P.D (DE) = 0.75 x 4 = 3V
