= 3*8 - 2*2 -7 *2 -2

= 24 - 4 - 14 - 2

3x+1 = 0

3x= -1

x = -1/3

x^3 + x^2- 2x +2

putting the value of x=3

3^3 + 3^2 - 2(3) + 2

21 + 9 - 6 + 2

30 -6+2

24+2 = 26
