Answer:

let the price of the fridge be x and the price of T.V be y

S.P. of x=x+10%of x

=11x/10

and that of T.V= y+5%of y

=21y/20.

A/q-( 11x/10-x)+(21y/20-y)=2000

=>x/10+y/20=2000

=>2x+y/20=2000

=>2x+y=40000- equation 1st.

Now,2nd condition-( y+10%of y)=s.p of tv

x-5%of x=s.p of fridge.

=11x/10

and 19y/20

Now,A/q-( 11x/10-x)+(19y/20-y)=1500

=>x/10+(-y/20)=1500

=>x/10-y/20=1500

=>2x-y/20=1500

=>2x-y=30000 - equation 2nd

Putting the values of both the equations together

2x+y+2x-y=40000+30000

=>4x=70000

therefore x=Rs 17,500 i.e. the price of fridge.

by eq.1 we know that 2x+y=40000

=>35,000+y=40000

=therefore y=Rs 5000 i.e. the price of TV.
