Hello friends.........

_____________________________

Given:

Side of cube = 2 cm.

Length of box = 16 cm

Breadth of box = 10 cm

height = 8 cm

Volume of rectangular box = l x b x h

= 16 x 10 x 8

= 1280 cu.cm

Volume of rectangular box = 1280 cu.cm

Now,we will calculate the volume of the cube,

We know that,

Volume of cube = side^3

Volume of cube = (2)^3

Volume of cube = 8 cu.cm

Now to find the number of cubes,we will divide both the volume means,

No.of cubes = Volume of box/volume of cube

No.of cubes = 1280/8

No.of cubes = 160

Therefore,160 cubes of the sides 2 cm can be fit in the rectangular box whose length, breadth, height are 16 cm ,10cm and 8 cm respectively..

Thanks...
