A). current in R1=

I1= V/R1

= 16/2 = 8

current in R2

I2=V/R2

=16/4 =4

current in R3

I3=V/R3

=16/8 =2

B). total current in circuit I = V/R

=16x7/8 = 14

I= I1+I2+I3

=8+4+2=14 AMP

C) 1/R=1/R1+2/R2+3/R3

=1/2+1/4+1/8

=4+2+1/8

1/R =7/8

R =8/7. ohm
