hey dear,

Dimethylmercury is effectively absorbed by inhalation or by skin penetration. When absorbed, Dimethylmercury is transformed in the organism to methylmercury.t is one of the most potent neurotoxins known. It readily crosses the blood-brain barrier, probably due to its formation of a methylmercury-cysteine complex. It causes ataxia (lack of coordination), sensory disturbance and changes in mental state. It inhibits several stages of neurotransmission in the brain. It is a cumulative poison, being very slowly removed (excreted) from the body, and by the time its effects are noted it is too late to do anything about it.

hope it helps you
