i)Here,
AC = AQ + CQ (Q is the mid point of ABCD)
And,PQ is perpendicular to DC
Since PQ is extended from Q perpendicular to DC it acts as a perpendicular bisector of DC
hence DP=PC
ii)We have,
CQ = PR ----(i)
CQ = 1/2 AC (Q is th mid point of AC)----(ii)
addin (i) and (ii) we get
PR = 1/2 AC
hence proved
