THEOREM : Tangents from same external points are equal in lenght to a circle.

SO,
AC=CP               ( tangents from c)                   (1)
BC=CP                (tangents from c)                    (2)

from (1) and (2)
AC=BC=CP=1/2 AB

SO THE VALUE OF CP IS 4.5cm

OR

Here, AS tangents from the same external point are equal.
So, AC = CP
BC = CP
From above,
AC = BC
So, AC = 1/2 AB
= 1/2 * 9
= 4.5 cm.
From above, AC = CP  = 4.5 cm
