Question(1): P divides A(-3,8) and D(-3,-8) in the ratio 1:1

So coordinates of p= (-3-3/2,8-8/2)= (-3,0)

Question(2): Distance of B(3,8) from Origin(0,0)

= √(3-0)^2+(8-0)^2

= √9+64= √73

c)√73 units

Question(3): Coordinates of the point that divides A(-3,-8) and B(3,8) in the ratio 1:2

= (3-3/3,8-8/3)= (0,0)

b)(0,0)

Question(4): Distance between A(-3,8) and B(3,8)

= √(-3-3)^2+(8-8)^2

= √36+0

= 6

a) 6units

Question(5): Since diagonals of a square bisect each other, G divides B(3,8) and D(-3,-8) in the ration 1:1

Coordinates of G= (3-3/2,8-8/2)= (0,0)

b) (0,0)
