To ProvE :-
- AB/AP = AC/AQ .
ProoF :-
We will use similarity of triangles to Prove the above . So ,
In ∆ APB and ∆AQC ,
- ∠APB = ∠AQC = 90° [ given ]
- ∠PAB = ∠QAC [ vertically opposite angles]
Hence by AA similarity Condition , ∆ APB ~ ∆AQC . So , we can say that ,
[ Since corresponding parts of similar triangle are proportional. ]
