Half life of a radioactive nuclide = t = (ln(2))/λ
=> t = 0.693/10^(-6)
( ln(2) = 0.693 and λ = 10^(-6) )
=> t = 0.693 x 10^6 sec....
=> t = 0.693/10^(-6)
