See, firstly you will have to divide the diagram into shapes of which area could be calculated.

As you can see, this is already done. And the shapes are numbered also.

So, here is how to do the rest-

1. There are in total 5 shapes

2. area of the first shape (triangle)

= 2.5cm^2

3. area of the second shape (rectangle)

= 6.5cm^2

4. area of the third shape (trapezium)

= 1.5cm^2

5. area of the fourth shape ( triangle)

= 4.5 cm^2

6. area of the fifth shape ( triangle)

= 4.5cm^2

7. so, now as we have the area of all the shapes, we will add them.

8. area of the first shape + area of the second shape + area of the third shape + area of the fourth shape + area of the fifth shape.

9. 2.5+6.5+1.5+4.5+4.5= 19.5cm^2

Ans- 19.5cm^2 is the area of the figure drawn by Radha.
